Background
Mostafa received his PhD from the Technical University of Dresden in Germany in mechanical engineering. He has worked for more than two decades in automotive, railway and aerospace applications. He is an international pioneer in the design and development of bioinspired mechanical metamaterials. He has extensive international experiences in industrial research, delivering of high-quality teaching, supervision, and giving key-note speeches in various countries including of Germany, UK, USA, Turkey, Cyprus, and Iran. He is endorsed as a talent in design of mechanical metamaterials by the UK Royal Academy of Engineering in 2023.
Research opportunities
I am working on the theory and application of mechanical and vibroacoustic metamaterials for engineering areas.
